I just noticed the engine of the car is replaced with 1NZFE Japanese 1.5L Assembly only ( although ECU is of 2NZFE)
I just replaced the new Clutch and Pressure Plates (AISIN Japan)
Spark Plugs replaced with Iridium ones DENSO SK20R11 (old ones were not good and they are also Iridium ones)
Replaced Air intake Pipe old ones had cracked from the throttle body side
Replaced Engine Blowpipe
Clean and Service: Throttle body, IAC Valve, MAF, Intake Manifold (stuffed with carbon deposit)
Replace Engine Oil 10w40 Shell with oil filter (previous owner using 20w50, no oil drop or smoke issue vehicle clocked 700KM after oil change )

A little oil is leaking from the passenger side strut shock absorber.
Rear shock absorber rubber buses are not in good shape.
The passenger side rear wheel bearing has some play and makes little noise sometimes.

That is the condition but the problem still exists

the vehicle jerks when I take off the foot from the gas paddle at a slow speed cruising, engine RPM goes below 1000

i think u already identified the root cause of ur problems, the car is having 1.5 liter JDM motor being controlled by 1.3 ECU.

one main difference i can see is that, 1.5 motor is running on different AFR while the ECU is locked on old values as it has a trimpot installed near front strut mount area in engine bay. it will be set according to old motor.

cheapest thing u can try is use an exhaust gas analyzer to set the AFR ratio as close to stock values and then check engine performance.

best is to replace the ECU with wiring with o2 sensors and cat convertors etc, manual tranmission ECU with wiring is hard to find. u might also need to change the fuel injectors as well,

I have checked the Color of the Spark Plugs tips are orange which means the AIR fuel mixture is good.

I have checked a couple of things already from the parts database of Toyota Japan online:

1NZFE and 2NZFE used the same Injectors and Fuel Pump but ECU is different
I think the wiring is also the same.

do you refer me to any workshops that have the facility of exhaust gas analyzer in Lahore?

u can try Faisal Town Lahore, there are couple of shops specializing in EFI tuning also electricals.

try to find out the values of exhaust gases before hand to verify with help of equipment.

i believe the current trimpot setting is for 2nz fe which is 1.3

u need to take a pic, mark its current position or use a multi meter to know the exact output in voltage from the trimpot. It is important so that u can revert back if the changes made are not favorable.

now u need to find out exhaust gas values for 1.5 and using the trimpot try to get as close as possible.

@xenerking Luckily by the grace of almighty Allah, the jerking issue has been fixed by replacing the fuel injectors. the previously installed injectors (Sky Colour) belong to a Toyota Vitz 1.0L 1SZ engine, I replaced them with Toyota Aqua fuel injectors, pull out from a 1NZ-FXE assembly, The engine is super smooth now, with no vibrations, no knocking and pick is also improved.

I will test the fuel efficiency with these injectors.

hello I also found today that my Se saloon has also Keyless entry from factory as I found the receiver on the C pillar so can you pleasee guide me from where I can get the key from that would work with my car and my car also goes into programming mod thanks

Is your car currently have after market keyless entry system or only using your key for lock and unlock ?

You can get a keyless fob with a circuit from any key maker shop.. and get programmed with it. The key fob for se saloon and prado 2006 shape model is the same.

Need help with 2003 20D swapped with 1nzfe a few days ago i bought the car, and yesterday self Start wasn't working and check light of opened door is contantly on no matter what, battery is in good health no problem with that, got it checked electrician said that key switch is expired! Due heat etc and it is because of wiring, which is totally messed up and you should get this done neatly.
P.S I'm getting 7.5-8 km in city and 10km at long.
What should be the problem with this low average?
Because i was told by mechanic that this engine would do 15-16km/l.

You need to check the wiring. Is the check engine light on?
By the way, I am also getting similar average with 1nz-fe swapped in my corolla se saloon 2003

From some days, i am noticing Water seepage/Leakage/drop near Front seats floor mats and even sometimes i have doubt over them as Leakage of oil droplets(due to smell causing by this fluid).

Can anyone give idea, from where this water/fluid is coming or probability/chance to be reason. It is coming in both near Left seat as well as Right side
