I actually want some advantage of bigger engine i.e less RPM for higher coasting speed resulting in good fuel economy...

buy a different car then, something like a 7 spd nissan fuga or a 6 or 8 spd toyota crown etc.

you cannot achieve your "wish" of wanting a taller geared car by swapping ATF

Only change ATF bro,if you think that it should be change now,dont go for to change or clean filter too,asaan alfaz me ye k,filter wala steel cover na hee khulwaen to behter h,bas nut khulwake k oil nikalwaen and then fill new one simple,because i have seen 2 my relatives,who allowed to their mechanic to change or clean the transmission filter too,now they facing problem with their car's transmissions..

I am not comparing it with such cars but atleast it should run a little faster than its 1.3 Liter counterpart

This is an Xli ( 2NZ-FE) and my Altis (1ZZ-FE) has same figures now I cant figure it out how they both perform same 86hp vs 134hp engine same body

Such calculations only are slightly true for manual gears and they work on prefixed algorithms..
So basically this algorithm does not have a knowledge base attached to it for automatic transmission and has no values or losses or parameters that tell accurate rpm..

One day a client came to me saying his GPS speed is 60 while his meter is showing 100kph... Upon which I got to know he's using the GPS via 2g Internet which has alot of jitters... So stop testing your systems and clusters, the people who have made them, are engineers and they've made them on calculations...

If it's not running faster, check compression first if it's beyond 170 engine is good.
And if it's below 130 then it's really bad. And such compression cars does not pull properly.. And are sluggish.

If compression is good, there's going to be slip torque converter.. Iske ilawa it's really fast and should be fast.

the gearbox is same, the ratios and tires etc are exactly the same - the 1zz will pull quicker though.

Are you considering road speed as a metric for calculating engine power?

Fearing this..i change tranmission oil by draining from sump and add8ng exactly ssme quantity of type IV toyota atf

the dipstick says that ATF does not need to be changed ever...but still im changing it by drain n refill method...after every approx. 35-40k mileage...takes almost 3.5 or 4 ltrs of ATF to do so...

yeah transmission feels a bit smoother or maybe its caz of placebo effect...

but still i do it to maintain ATF good properties if cannot improve it by draining every drop and filling with new one...

and yes the drained ATF is definitely darker than the new cherry colored one.

I guess mine is running fine ALhumdulillah. Mohsin bhai's is more concern about his car that thee might some gear ratio issues etc.
