Toyota Corolla XLI 2010 Noise on Initial start (possibly transmission noise)

Greetings everyone!

I recently purchased a 2010 Corolla last month. Initially, everything seemed fine, but starting last week, whenever I first start the car in the morning, I hear a ticking noise from the left side of the engine. The noise disappears when I put the car in gear and shift to neutral. This issue only occurs when the car is cold. I'm curious to know if it's some type of transmission noise and what steps I should take to address it.

its vvti cam gear noise. dont worry its due to non toyota unrecommended viscousity engine oil. when noise is unbearable then change that gear with toyota 5w30 oil

Cam gear is on the RHS of the car, owner claims noise is from the LHS which could be a clutch bearing.
