that city is a great car.. but corolla is better than city any day only if u find a good condition corolla which is quite a task as said above, most of them are roughly used. whereas finding a clean city would be easy. i think you'll get city for lesser price and in better condition.

Try finding a GLi corolla instead of XLi.
Its better than City 2006/2008

In your particular case, and within same budget, my vote would be for Honda City.

Members have already shared the Pros and Cons of both, however, only thing which does not favour XLI is; it would be an abused car when compared to City, provided budget, model year, and other conditions, etc. are all kept same.

If you could source an unabused Corolla, then it would be better than City IMO, but then, you will have to compomise on budget, model year, etc.

Yeah yesterday visited to check out xli it was showered and meter was tempered . It was like totally baji hui car in 995 .
Owner completely lied about his car.
