I recently bought corrola cross 2025 model non hybrid model but the fuel average is very bad about 6-7 with ac on light foot but company claims about 11-12kmpl can anyone help why i am getting about half of claimed mileage

Come after using complete fuel tank at least twice.

Fuel average becomes normal after 1000-1500km milage.

have you completed 1st service after delivery? which engine oil is used? OEM suggest 5W-30 or 0W-20 for the 1.8 2ZR-FE engine. anything above that and the engine performance will be affected.

if at 1st service by OEM they used 20W-50 they have screwed up. Revisit and pay for change of engine oil to 5W-30 or 0W-20 as owner. User manual of vehicle can be referred to and OEM 3S can not decline to change oil when you are paying for it.
