I have non-custom paid toyota crown 1998 model.....3000cc petrol.....car is total geniune frm inside and outside.......now the main thing i wanted to ask is how can i pay its custom nd where.....i've asked frm custom office nd they said that first give us the car we'll auction it nd after that we'll tell u how much is the custom is.........I've bought the car frm islamabad..but now i am vry mch worried about the custom thing pleaseee share your views....and 1 more thing i wanted to ask please tell me....my car is parked in my garage frm the last 6 months..nd mai nai use 1 dafa bhi start nai kia....tou agar mai ab us ki battery change krwa loun tou will i be able 2 start the car easily:S

before going into details, i heard from ppl that u can put the body on older chassis of crowns, so just confirm from some one about that!! that still Punjab courts are issuing such decree whereby one can change the car body with a newer one. and by the way the custom ppl are very right in what they have described,.. also dont worry about the car re-start that is not an issue at all but atleast once a month give it an ignition to make it lively. 3000 c.c. will rock on roads ..

why dont u buy an old car and change its body.yill now its legal but some day it will be declared illegal.u can take it for a ride near ur home

Post 1996 models crowns cannot be body-changed as they don't have ,separate chassis construction....
i think the custom ppl are telling you the right suggestion , but beware after auction the car will be dam expensive...

In my opinion try to sold this car as itself..

Thousand of cars are running in Pakistan without custom clerarance.You should use this as...you are driving a commen legall car.
Be sure you should not voilant the traffic rules and regulation,otherwise you can suffer,

i know the full story
there r many NCp cars (specially rollas (92 n + same shape) n prados)
they will never caught ur car untill they have full proof it is Non custom u can drive it(many cars r running with fake no)
pehly pura case chalta ha n once they r sure that this car is non custom then after that they will not leave it even in ur garage
i hv attended many auctions of CUSTOM 1st they were in I.9 isb now moved to some other place
coming back to topic they after that they will parked ur car in their place n then case runs
after case ur car will appear in auction n if u want to get ur car back u will hv to quote highest bid in that auction then after that more days will taken to get it clear n then deliever it to u;)
