yaar i am afraid i have to point out one thing..........
vvti by toyota switches the cam profile... that is at certain rpm one profile and after that another and that switch point is fixed.... no continues variable phasing.... and then vvt-i was introduced, the only difference between this and the previous version is that the switch point is determined by the engine anywhere between 1700 and 6400 depending on the throttle position sensor, rpm and engine load......
