When steering rack was out of car.The mechanic rotated the pinion and the steering rack ends were moving fully inside and out.He said it's working fine.I actually got this pinion part changed because the area where high pressure pipe was fitting was slipping causing it to not tighten.After fitting everything and pouring power steering fluid.Car was started and steering was like non power steering.He said it has air in it and it will be fine after a while by itself.I tried removed the air by removing reservoir cap and turning it lock to lock.Still after driving 2 months steering is hard and no improvement.
