Hello guys! i have just bought an NCP Toyota Fielder 2001 (G-Edition) with total run of 71000 KM. The Engine is 1NZ FE 1496 (1496cc), Automatic Transmission.
Please suggest Engine Oil with what Viscosity (like 5w-30, 10w-30 etc) should i use for my car? The car runs mostly in the Northern Areas of Pakistan.

10W30 is ideal oil

Another thing i noticed, my car only gives 7-8 kms per litre. Thats actually too bad as the engine seems fine and haven't been run that much. Some of my friends own the same car but they claim 12-14 in city.
What should i do? is there any way i can fix it?

2001 Fielder has ECT 4speed auto transmission compared to later models with cvt transmission. The best this would give you is 12kmpl on highway while 8 to 10 in city.
