Toyota fielder 2006

finally, posting this thread for my car after 1.5 years. bought it in november 2012 after a long search beacause either the fielders were not in good condition, or were demanding insane. the hard work paid of and got a fielder from a friend, it was unregistered, bumper to bumper original, 153k on the odo which definitely was reversed to 31k before i bought it. felt in love as soon as i saw the car.
the things i added were
1. advanti racing wheels and nitto japanese 205/65 r15 tyres
2. a decent pair of speakers (sony xplod) and a 2 channel amp.
3. cng was installed in april 2013. getting amazing average. average on petrol was about 10-12 km per litre depending on the conditions. and on cng i am getting 130 kms above with 50% ac and 50% without ac and around 110-115 on 100% ac and without ac 150 kms easily. tank is 60 l of cng. the drive is perfect on cng with no issues at all. had a cng solenoidal valve issue which was solved later.

the cylinder is behind the seat bro. i got it installed from hi tec cng conversion centre dha opposite national medical centre on korangi road. he is a very good friend of mine. do let me know if you need any help regarding it.

it had a small accident few days back. had to replace the front bumper and left headlight and i realised that although the parts are available n the market, but people demand insane for them.
from plaza, got the price quote
bumper= 25000
light= 50000

called some one n quetta. from quetta
bumper= 16000
light=18000
and in the end i was amazed that a guy in Tariq road gave me new parts. 8k for the bumper and 8k for the light. means all the other dealers are having a huge profit margin

thanks sir. and i am from Swabi :). not Abbottabad. but alot of Jadoon's are from Abbottabad as well but they speak hindko and we speak pashto :).

@ poster, Mabrook , MashaAllah nice car, and awesome durability . We have one Fielder from our office for pick & drop here, and it's almost 335000 km on odometer, but the car still runs like a bull

yeah, u r right, expensive spares is one of the major problems which keeps many from buying imported stuff ! khair, good that you got it cheap, be safe and enjoy your ride !
