Original J40 PS gear...cleaned it before installing. Teflon seals, rubber Orings all seem to be in pretty good condition along with chromed surfaces, no pitting or trail marks.

Serviced PS gear in pace

Was a good time to replace rag-joint / coupler with stretchable cross joint

Ready for action

PS pump I found is almost twice the size of Hiace / Pajero. Hope it performs as good too!

PS pump mounted on original brackets where alternator used to be. Therefore, much shorter power pipes v/s PS mounted on the other side of the engine.

Alternator moved to the position where 2nd/aux generator used to sit originally.

Replaced the lower coolant hose with a one piece pipe from a bulldozer radiator :-#

Access to all liquids remains to be from the same side :*

Brother, remeasured the dimensions and they stand to be exact! If its 4' wide at the inside @ front & back, then it should fit. Length can be player with by placing front or rear of the Quad on the edge, in case tub is shorter than 70".

BUT if someone wishes to learn more about function of double/single butterfly, smog, rich mixture, fuel jets, carbon, vacuum chokes, 2 min/lit, adapter plates etc etc... then KEEP ONE!
