Trust me the front seats also get painful on a long journey. I was tired till I reached Chakri from Lahore and the remaining journey till Murree was becoming an agony

Hence only making this one trip made me realise I won’t be doing out of city trips on Fortuner again. Civic X for me was a better experience in the same journey one year ago

I wanted to buy Prado 150 TZ but I felt uneasy spending over 9 million on 5 years old SUV. So I bought FL grande. There is no alternative. I wish we had Ford Endeavour (Everest) in Pakistan.

don't waste money... wax it regularly! Drive your machines hard whilst caring... Don't keep Fortuners like artifacts in the museum - take full pleasure, do off-road, go places where cars are shy rather scared off.

Salaam Fellow, my relative recently purchased Fortuner 2.7L we are having a hard time in getting it's rear AC working can somebody help in regards ?

The " Rear " knob illuminates upon pressing and rear climate control also shows temperature. Air circulation noises are heard throughout roof and pillars but no sign of air flow via VENTS

Am I missing or doing anything wrong ? Or it needs a visit to dealership ?

In the last row there should be air vents on the side which suck in air to recirculate. These vents are probably choked with the plastic seat covering.
Turn the ac on and see if the plastic is getting sucked in.

Wouldn’t recommend it from any Toyota dealership as they don’t go through the pre requisites rather you should consult SAC detailing or if you opt for ceramic coating check out ceramic pro in sindhi muslim behind honda Shahrah-e-Quaideen.

First of all would like to wish everyone a very happy Eid. The costs vary according to the car you have and what package you want, for SUV/pickup trucks the staring package for ceramic coating is for 50k as i recall but it could vary now as i got it done in Nov 2017.

I don't think time will have any affect on comfort except some softening of suspension (which no one is questioning here). Its all about seats.

Are the driver seats also uncomfortable?
I test drove the fortuner in detail (paved roads only), but it was about a 20min drive in traffic and some highway. I found the driver seat to be pretty decent. The rear (middle row) seat was not very welcoming though, but reclining function and arm rest improved the experience to acceptable level (10min only though in rear seat).

It’s pretty okay for within city use like short trips. I realised how stupid the seat posture and comfort of the driver seat is when I drove it from Lahore till Murree. My tolerance and tiredness level reached its peak in the middle of the journey. And never had I felt this tired on the same journey before.

Like I probably mentioned above in this thread earlier. The same journey previously on a Civic X wasn’t as tiring and uncomfortable for me being a driver.
