Booking announcement for Face-lift Fortuner 2021.

Toyota Eastern Motors And Toyota University Motors have started taking booking for FORTUNER Face-lift 2021:

• The new FORTUNER variants will have a new Prestigious Exterior look, a more Premium Feeling Interior.

• For the Diesel variant, a Performance Refinement.

• We are pleased to announce a new Fortuner variant – The Fortuner V 4x4 Petrol!

• Customers booking FORTUNER MMC 645B variant will be required to sign an undertaking on PKR 50/- stamp paper acknowledging that the retail price mentioned on the PBO may increase up to 15% at time of delivery.

• The Company has not yet determined the official retail price of the Vehicle. However, it is estimated that the retail price might be up to 15% on current retail price.

The Fortuner line-up will now have the following 3 variants available for booking:

· Fortuner Sigma 4 (4x4 Hi Diesel)
· Fortuner V (4x4 Hi Petrol)
· Fortuner G (4x2 STD Petrol)

If interested in booking then please send us partial payment pay order in favour of Indus Motor Company Limited on account of booking name for the amount of:

Why are they taking bookings even before any specs or even price being disclosed
They did the same with corolla X where dealerships started taking bookings even before official announcement but at least we knew it’s features
We don’t know anything about Fortuner facelift other then the 4/4 petrol variants making a comeback
I am thinking about booking it but I’m not sure what will be the end product that they will deliver
As we don’t even know it’s price yet and the fact they are even taking an undertaking for it just doesn’t seem right
I will probably wait for now till we get a proper launch and by then even Sorento and gloster might get launched so I could decide by comparing them with each other

Fully agreed. Best is to wait. This stamp paper drama is hilarious. Only happens in Pakistan that booking is open even before product is displayed.
And as always investors will book this and insane amount of own will be asked.
And yeah let’s see what sorento and gloster has to offer. They will definitely give Fortuner a run for the money specially sorento

Yeah this new trend for attracting investors is just taking over the industry
We genuine customers need to know what we are buying at least this is our hard earned money
Hopefully we get something good from the facelift but as of now booking one for me at least is ridiculous

Price and features reveal in a few weeks. Most probably in February or before that. (not confirm yet)

Guys, the 15% price-up is an estimate and is only due to the Fortuner V grade now being made equal to the top-of-the-line Fortuner Sigma4.

The current difference b/w Sigma4 and V is 700k...now add the new specs of Facelift...voila..you now have an idea of the price increase of Fortuner V.

Other variants will not have such a jump.

Man I'm soo confused if I should refund my Fortuner G booking and go for Fortuner G facelift.
I have to make full payment by 10th feb , hopefully they release price by then , I'm willing to pay 3-4 lacs for facelift not more for G variant

Prices are most probably going to be released by then as of now I have confirmed they have no details about pricing from head office and February is expected to be the launch month

Why would they back off on a price increase when customers are agreeing to it on a legal paper before booking?

Secondly the Corolla Cross is just around the corner and it is rumoured to be priced around 8 Million so there is no way Indus will keep it close to Fortuner. My wild guess is they will create a price gap to place the Cross and that will mean even a Fortuner base variant would be 1.5-2 Million more than Cross. I am foreseeing the lowest Fortuner at 9.5 Million as Low spec will be out and current Hi spec 2wd Petrol will be the new base variant. Now add 15% to the current 2.7 Hi.

I really hope I am wrong but I think greedy Indus is bound to cross the boundaries of greed yet again to set a new high on pricing. Case example is the increase in price of that ugly Corolla X. And people are already paying 1-1.5 million premium which is exactly why car companies feel free to add the same premium amount in price because people don’t disappoint them by proving they can keep paying more
