I don’t understand the confusion on this point either. The Fortuner has A-TRAC “always” enabled when you switch into 4WD, unlike the 4Runner in the west, where they have to manually push a button. I have the Sigma4, and can confirm that it DOES have A-TRAC, and I’ve “used” it multiple times in my trips up north...most recently when I drove to Naltar lakes in GB. On asymmetrical ruts, especially when I had opposing corners in the air, just lightly accelerating would first cause the lifted wheels to spin, then the brakes would engage to slow them down and the other two wheels on the ground would get the torque...just like it is all over the world for the Fortuner. We don’t get anything less in the drivetrain of the Fortuner here in Pakistan...it’s just the other features where Indus screws us. A-TRAC is only disabled if you lock the rear diff or if you long press to totally turn off the traction aids.
