Even with the prefacelift model , when I wanted to book my car (three years after official launch) non of the showrooms had a display unit , they didn't even have a brochure of V or G petrol variants only a brochure of the Sigma. was a total facepalm moment for me, even after I booked my G variant they gave me a brochure of a Sigma as they didn't have any for the other variants

Guys one thing to note ( A friend who has a 2017 Fortuner when he sat in mine observed) that the sound quality of speakers has drastically improved after the newer headunit which came in pre facelift December 2020 onwards and will come in newer facelift as well

The sound quality of Grande speakers is excellent since 2018 facelift. Pre Facelift Fortuner’s speakers were even worse than Grande. I hope now they have reached the same quality as that of Grande.

Probably because the paper cone speakers installed have such components installed which start deteriorating after 6 months or so. I have noticed this in corolla gli 2014 and then when changed it in 2016 the equipment was same but sound quality seemed a lot better in the zero meter one, and a friend had similar experience with Civic 2017 which he changed to Civic 2020

I have after market JBL in my Prado. The sound quality is exceptionally good. They are well worth the money, however it doesn’t make sense to get after market sound system for a brand new vehicle. So, you have to live with whatever Indus gives you in case of Fortuner.

That maybe the case but 2018 Grande speakers still sound excellent and are significantly better than Civic Oriel of the same model.

That is so not true. Having used both cars as a daily driver, speakers on civic 2017 were FAR better (miles apart) than Grande 2018.

Not in my experience. Civic Oriel has excellent speakers.

I got my car before Eid, Alhamdolillah. It was amongst the initial 5 FL cars delivered to customers by Indus.

There is no JBL sound system. Some ordinary Toyota headunit with 6 speakers. Decent sound. Nothing special. The headunit itself is pretty ordinary. just a large, bright screen with android auto and apple carplay, radio and one USB port. no card slot even.

As compared to Indian FL, Pak FL has no ventilated seats. No intrusion/theft detection system. No Ad-blue injection system, no black interior option
