After initial disappointment, I'm starting to like the new facelift shape. To me, the new Fortuner facelift looks better in Black than White. It was the other way around for me before the facelift. Thinking to book Fortuner in black.

Guys, what's your opinion about the color choice among White and Black in facelift version- which one looks better?

I have black Facelifted Fortuner. It looks fabulous, definitely better than white, however usual demerits of black colour are very much there. It gets dirty so easily and paint is prone to scratches.

Finally solved the problem of uncomfortable fortuner seats. Got the seats removed. Original Covers removed. Stitched new covers with a layer of foam under it and bang.... the seats are as comfy as it can get. Hell of a job to remove second row seat and install it back (I recommend one should make a video while removing the seats to remember how to reinstall them) but totally worth it. In fact just came back from a trip from Karachi to Kumraat and gone is the backache which used to happen with those factory seats. Loving it....

Can you please share picture of second row seats? The only reason I haven't bought Fortuner yet is because of its poor seat comfort.

Got it done by my cousin in Rahimyar Khan. He is a Jeep enthusiast and makes awesome jeeps. The cost of materials were 21 k (18 gaz Ragzene and foam sheets. We have a lot of it spare so that in case we need to re do anything we have the exact color and material with us). I recommend you take your head rest with you to the market to find exact same colour. His guy made the seats and he did not take money from me despite my insistence. The guy who removed and re installed the seats was also refusing to take anything but I think my cousin gave him 5 k. So my cost was 26 k. But I believe 25 k for stitching these seat covers will be reasonable so the whole thing will cost around 50 k. I was reluctant in removing the seats and removing the original leather but that was horribly uncomfortable for long drives (if you consider the cost one pays for the car) but now I am pleased and satisfied. The tip is to make video of the seats removal and ideally by a guy who know how to remove and reinstall (have done it before)

Btw got a new truck ki 32 from Toyota today. Apparently my vehicle is now delayed to October. Gives them a good 41 days now. Did you get any such letter in August?

Got similar letter from Toyota today for delivery in October.. Mine PBO was of September delivery...
