I just want to add some thing....mine was not late delivery compensation technically. I booked on 27th August 21..date of delivery on PBO was March 2022.. .I received my car 3 months early in first week of January and still got compensation of 2 lac 14 thousand....which made me pleasingly surprised. This early delivery saved my around 6 to 7 lac due to mini budget and then additional gave m e back that 2 lac 14 thousand. So total saving of roughly 1 million.

Shell Helix Ultra 5w40 is a gasoline engine oil, not diesel specific.
try to find a diesel specific 5w-30 oil (which i havent found so far) or stick to Zic x7000 10w-40.

Why don't you guys use toyota specific oil? thats mentioned in manual???? Also using aftermarket oil voids your warranty!!
When my sigma's first oil change comes up i'll definitely go for Toyota oil that they recommend.

No diesel specific oil present in market except 15w40
Secondly if owner manual reccomends Api CF and A3/B4 oil which are both in Shell Helix Ultra then why cant we use it plus it is fully synthetic

Toyota specific which comes in Tin Packing is expensive and it is also not Fully synthetic means less drain interval then why should we use it when you can go for Mobil 1 or Liqui Moly in that price which are far more superior than Toyota oils

The helix ultra is both gasoline and diesel specific oil according to its specs and can be used in the 1gd or any diesel engine for that matter

Does anyone get a slight sound when the floor their vehicle? Is this normal? Before the legender, I haven’t owned any diesel vehicles so maybe it’s just me? The sound is metallic and feels as if different metal surfaces are making contact with each other. I’ll see if i can upload a video for reference. The car is driven 600 km.

Dear Users: Yesterday, I got the delivery of Fortuner G from Walton Motors, took 5L petrol with me, it was handy, I recommend to bring petrol with you to avoid any inconvenience, weather is harsh and too much rush on roads.
I noticed during traffic light, I put the car from D to N, when I move the gear from N to D, there was sudden jerk (noticeable), but this is unnoticeable if I put the foot on brake and slightly release the brake.. Is it normal? When I searched on internet, many said don't put it to N, keep it on D usually the traffic signals are of multiple minutes it will take time to adjust keeping car on D. What is the preferred mode? Also during delivery for 3rd row seat when you unfold there is a hole to be covered by Skids (which they didn't provide me) that is used to keep the flat bed, I told them about it they said it wont come with the car. Is it so?

Yes car takes jerk when it is moved from N to D and D to R or vice versa and no skids are provided for the third row hole

Thank you, I shall avoid the N gear...otherwise works fine from R to D and vice versa....issue comes from N to D only....Means skids for 3rd row hole to be purchased separately.
