Toyota Fortuner Officially Launched by IMC in Pakistan

Does it run on Android? I don't think it does. I've Sygic lifetime license for all countries. Would be awesome if I could use it in Fortuner.

I've got the Sygic license for Pakistan maps with my Corolla. Didn't you get them with your navigation headunit of Fortuner?

I have not even bothered checking the system on my Fortuner yet. Only paired with BT till now and listened to the radio.

I plan to put a protector on the screen first and then remove the protective layering because of which the dvd slot cannot be opened currently as that tape type stuff is holding it back if I try to open.

But overall the result, sharpness and specially reverse cam is very much inferior to the system on Civic X Oriel.

Experts i need your advice. I got my fortuner 4 days before eid and i am enjoying it. I have done 900 km on my ride and i found the engine was a bit more noisy on motorway to what i was expecting. The ac is good. I got an average of 9 km on motorway on avearge speed of 115km/h. This is my first 2.7 petrol vehicle before i was using 1kz prado 98 model tx. I was expecting that the petrol vehicle will have a good kick down and a great pick but i am not that satisfied by the performance. I am using regular fuel in my car please guide me shall i use high octane or is it designed to run on super peteol please advice me brothers. One more information for all my good brothers. I used to live in canada 4 to 5 years back and worked as sales managerat honda vancouver. We had our training sessions. Once they told us that we should never mix differnt octane fuels as they harm your engine. When ever we have to switch in fuels we should empty the fuel tank to maximum and then fill it with a different octane numnered fuel. Need your guys kind advice to make my experience better.

I searched articles for this theory and all of them say its okay to mix fuels. Rather some say its advisable to mix them if you want a higher octane average.

Toyota Walton Motors still haven't booked my Fortuner. Its been over 2 weeks since I gave them pay order. I lodged a complaint with Indus Motors, but they are also useless. I am thinking about canceling pay order tomorrow and get a refund of 252K cash for registration. I hope they don't put hurdles in that as well.
From private to government sectors, everything is sh*t in Pakistan.

Sorry to hear about your bad experience. I will advise you not take drastic steps. Sit and talk to them and understand what the real issue is. It is beyond understanding. I am sure something is wrong somewhere. Else, collect your payorder and go to any other toyota dealer and book your car. Please keep us posted!

Is real life difference in height prominent? As In the picture the difference looks negligible. According to my calculation, the difference is 0.4 inch. Also, how hard does the steering get after installing 285 tires? I have read that Fortuner steering is already hard, so wouldn't installing wider tires make it more harder?

The steering is neither hard nor light. Its absolutely perfect on stock tyres

First check up done and took some pictures of the undercarriage. The steering was massively off centre so forced them for a complimentary alignment with an excuse that its not my fault you gave me a new car without proper alignment

They did try to get away with it and asked me it will be done on cost but I created a little fuss and they agreed.

its not be categorized hard.. Yes its firm for lot more good reasons-once you drive it for ten days and it's normal feel. Grip on corners has significantly increased with almost double the confidence with 285 width as compared to stock... A little add in height & base width gives it just a perfect alpha male look that can not be neglected covering the wheel arches better.
Driven 10000kms + on these ..though Fortuner is almost perfect in stock tyres but 285s little upgrade takes the drive feel to next level specially on the motorways at high speeds-the steering feedback adds confidence.. No need to tap brakes often on bends and curves to check speed- 285s definitely better than 265s on fortuner.

Sat in a fortuner today as well As Revo . Is it just me or are the seats for both very hard and uncomfortable. Was not impressed at all. Need feedback please
