Toyota Fortuner Officially Launched by IMC in Pakistan

The fact that now Corolla comes with VSC, TRC and push start button while Fortuner doesn't is pissing me off. Its half the price of Fortuner and packed with goodies.

The recent price hike is totally unjustified without bringing any new features. I am considering canceling my booking if I do not get any confirmation about new features by the end of October. There is 2% cancellation charge of total price, BUT in case of price increase I can cancel booking for a full refund.

Yes most probably there will be a Nov/Dec launch of new varients such as 4x2 with lower price an fewest options and probably a top spec version with highest price and more options. No confirmation about diesel. I have heard Toyota indus is so far awaiting 1GD engine which is not provided to them by Toyota global yet.

Makes sense. I think current version will remain as base model and full option version with push start button, VSC etc will be offered for additional price, most probably around 6 Million PKR.

IMC guys congrats. You people increased the price without any improvement or upgrade and people are happy. With petty missing add-ons like front camera, push start button, VSC module and rear hatch closing system people are happily accepting to pay 6 million. In the same ratio, pls add 1KD and make it 7 million and next year add 1GD and take it to 8 million as Fortuner is the only vehicle left in the market to buy.

I installed front camera on Vezel, It was utterly useless for parking because there was no view of front bumper. Factory fitted front cameras come with horizontal lines on display or the view of the bumper to help with parking. Make sure you buy a camera that has horizontal lines or at least capture the front bumper.

I totally agree about the fact that the bumper should be visible. No dealership has the front camera in Islamabad plus I wouldn't have it installed if they insist on opening the whole headunit.

Carnauba will effect White in the long run adding paleness to it.

Synthetic will not effect on White

got fortuner delivered today. I drove some 40 kilometers today in City and fuel average shown on screen is 26L / 100 kilometers. What's wrong with it and what can I do to correct it or improve fuel average?

Try resetting the fuel average meter. Also please let us know at what price i.e new or old your vehicles was invoiced. If you paid the new price is there any feature additional ?
