Fortuner has poor interior design compared to Prado in terms of practicality. 3rd row seats in Prado 120 were folded to the sides and could be removed by pressing a button. In Prado 150 3rd row seats are folded to the floor. But in Fortuner, the seats can only be folded to the sides, and you can't remove them. When the seats are folded, the 2nd row seats become toilet seats with 90 degree backs because of poor spacing between folded seats and 2nd row seats. You never get full luggage space.
Land Cruiser brand is not obsolete, far from it. It has proven reliability record of 66 years, while Fortuner still has to prove it. No one knows how Fortuners will perform when they are over 10 years old. You cannot compare local Fortuners to imported ones.
If Toyota ever makes a mistake of doing that, they will immediately kill the TLC brand.
