Is there any solution for seats ? Seats are hard and if driver has height above 6 feet, seat needs to be adjusted by tilting backwards. It adds in discomfort to thighs because level of driving seat becomes lower in back and higher in front. Someone tried cushioning or seat covers etc ?

Around 1500-2000 Toyota Revos was booked by Armed Forces 8 months ago but i think tht not the reason of booking closed, they might have hold the current production of fortuner for new 1GD diesel engine and also 1GR 4.0 V6 petrol engine.

I believe that the angle can be adjusted, front part of seats (near the knees) can be raised/lowered, this is what I recall from my trial run of fortuner.

The combination of the two factor makes sense, but only for Revo. For Fortuner, if the hold up is the new engine(s), then it is taking quite a bit longer, as 2.7vvti is not being discontinued and booking should not be stopped. Unless, of course, if it is being discontinued!

I am looking forward to the 4.0 v6 in particular.

I heard they r using same assembly line for Fortuner with Revo, Fortuner will continue in 2700cc if customer prefer 1GD or 1GR then they might drop the 2TR engine for Fortuner.

IMO focus on better engines in Fortuner may not prove much productive. If any cues can be taken from corollas at all, people prefer the economical 1.3 variants much more than the Altis ones. Had Indus let Fortuner be what it deserves to remain and priced it wisely , it would have earned them fortunes. Lets wait and see what becomes of it now.....

There is no shortage of booking. Fortuner is fully booked even though booking has been mostly closed past 6 months. As for low priced version its coming soon.

You are right I doubt so many variants will be offered. Only time will tell. Exact picture might take time cause varients may be introduced one by one over few months or a year.

Made this for lumbar support today. Its some spare curtain cloth folded and stitched at the four corners with wire from a hanger passing under top edge suspended with string.

Very happy with it. Seat lacks lumbar support.

Once the original seat covers wear out, its simple enough to increase padding under the new covers in lumbar area.

Some people have already installed covers over the original leather to preserve it.
