Diesel quality and its cost plus no substantial long term reliability test available for 2.8 1GD apart of a hand full Thai revos ran just over a year, a shade above 20000kms max and reported issues already... This was the reason last year also when 3000cc diesel was preferred over - here diesel quality is not even close to euro specs rather of Ethiopian standards.
Winds blowing and its a tz killer sway almost- with
taxation & peice bracket considerations ... 4000cc full house Fortuner with all the gadgets and gizmos.
4000cc is already proven successful with hundreds of TZ variants running over a span of 5 years + and in bad gasoline fuel times and now with current petrol Ron upgrade.. Its a strong choice. 4000cc provides sheer power which is felt significantly as upgrade, refinement, quietness, highway fuel economy, hassle free less maintenance and vast coverage to attract the whole Prado market segment excluding fanboys investing valueless one and half crore for the tz variants.
With 4000cc its a win win which broadens the segment by attracting premium pleasure seekers also and also help earn more for Indus making its case more convincing than a 2.8 diesel.
Its a strong majority case in indus but Thailand might ruin it with 2.8 as supply chain...
Apart from fortuner... More news on the way soon but for now there is another 7 seater to be introduced by Indus & test mules are to arrive soonby next week.
ReVo exclusive the upcoming V plus variant or ReVo X update news to be confirmed over the weekend .
