Consider the price vs. specs. comfort level etc. It might look good as it's new but consider all aspects. You need to see what you get for what you pay. It's an excellent choice if it's priced around 4.5 million where as IMC is going to price it at 5.5 million.

bhai jan, you are absolutely right, all aspects must be considered before losing 5.5m to IMC.

By the way I saw many people talking about roll over issue, I checked India, they sell 12,000 units every year like 980 every month. (Toyota Fortuner - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia)

Somebody in India says roll over is common problem with all SUVs (Toyota Fortuner). Also youtube is all praises for Fortuner in comparison with Pajero Sport and Ford vehicle in India.

Fortuner is just like a hilux with a different shell and us very uncomfortable where as prado is a proper suv plus has better resale and more looks and room

Be advised: Nothing runs or feels like a Land Cruiser. The ones who are comparing Prado to a fortuner or hilux etc are themselves at fault or probably have never driven a prado. Adios.

Allah hum dolila . i have Lc, Hilux Vigo and prado in my fleet. i also used Fortuner in 2008 when i was in thailand.

i am agree that new Land Cruiser( Cruising ) is better then Prado and Prado is better then Fortuner if we cohse in new.

Prado and Fortuner are two different vehicles that cannot be compared.

Prado offers comfort, durability, better drive, road grip, seats, added accessories...

Fortuner is unstable, heavy suspension and hence not very well suited for city driving.. The vehicle has high centre of gravity and hence very very very unstable at higher speeds

Fortuner is also comfort and durable and stable in high speed but it,s not a car its a suv. cars and SUVs are different vehicles that cannot be compared.

Mani is absolutely right. You can not compare lc or prado to fortuner. It's all about the price. When you spend this much money then you think what will you get in return? So better spend some more to get a better thing.
We haven't thought of another important factor, lets say we buy fortuner today for 5.2 or 5.5 million because its a new toy for boys n for the sake of fresh smell of new interior. Do you think you will find a buyer easily after 2-3 years? How many people are there to spend 5 million for an old car? So resale of high priced car is also very low.

I would consider mark x too. My preference however would be Mercedes. I have to see n drive BMW yet.

what other options do i have if im going to spend 55 lacs?

1. BMW X5 (used 2005 tk ki ajaegi)

+1, Fortuner 60 lakh sae kum nae ho ge coz vigo per commercial duty hey jubh khay Fortuner per orignal duty ho ge, es liaey.... nothing beat to VIGO

Mani Bhai, mujhay tu Vigo oer Fortuner ke drive mae koe khas fark nazar nai iea. unstable feel hoti hey ager air Pressure ziada ho oer tyres hard hoon, mae humasha 25psi rakhta hoon, mujhay kabhi problem nae howa.
Use the 4psi rule (?0.25 bar).

Pump tyres when cold.
Drive till tyres are hot,
check pressure.

• if pressure is ?0.25 bar higher than when cold = OK
• if pressure is <0.25 bar higher than when cold = original pressure was to high
• if pressure is >0.25 bar higher than when cold = original pressure was to low

my cousin went to PC yesterday n few of my friends too....all of them like it a lot but price is too high.....its for 5.2m not 4.8m which i stated earlier..... its almost fully loaded like driver power seat, dvd touch 7" screen, leather seats, all rear seats r foldable, 17inch rims/tires, full time 4wd with 4x4 gear lever, one thing i like the most tht it shows fuel consumptions, mileage and temp which the local vigo champ doesnt....but i say its not worth in 5.2m....in Thailand this fortuner in 2700cc is 1,264,000baht which is like 4.4m rupees
