Toyota Grande CVT Gear Problem

Well I don't know much about shuddering, but I replaced plugs with ngk laser iridiums which misfired somehow. Cvt started jerks even at 100-120km/h. I was pretty tired by fixing everything. Even toyota stealership couldn't diagnose it. Replaced plugs with original and everything was back to normal. My car was 22k kms driven at that time...
Somehow this shudder is also linked with engine and its sleed. I have also noticed that it gets pretty minute when you use hi octane or catalytic convetor is 100% clean.

Will test drive Another Car soon and will observe its Behaviour of TCC ,
1-1 Lockup at 100kmh speed , Bro My K313 is doing this Miracles at 20 30 speeds on gentle Cruise 🤣 I always try to avoid it By Breaking The coast right before Ecu is Ready to Make it lock. Bcz once its locked - It doesn't want to get unlocked Until 10 15 speed.

Pls comment on Refurb parts with warranty - Are they good to go? Many people have good experiences with them in Early time (dont know about long terms)
Similarly Refurb TC with plates replaced, A good choice? If new one is costing 200,000 and Rebuild 20,000 .

The tcc in a cvt is not fully reliant on speed, it works when a low load cruise is detected, this is to improve economy, and because the cvt is a very "nazuk" transmission.

The tcc is unlocked immediately to remove any input harshness to the variator belt as it can get damaged. (Note, if you have a misfire condition in a cvt vehicle, immediately stop driving)

These are rather termed as " high speed surging " .... I already experienced it in back 2013 and yes the culprit are Irridum spark plugs deteriorating early and show up symptoms at high speed high load conditions but this is not the case here.

I dont have any misfire Actually But the jerk or shudder is 100% Felt like a miss fire for a second. Thats why i am worried.

Pls also give a sec to see VB Assy Condition of valves above.
Another thing : When the car is warm - There is also a delay in Shift from R to D and D to R - A delay or Jerk of 1 second.
A normal person will not feel it But it was not before since this All matter started. Can this be due to Manual valve?

The delay is considered normal for cvt as the vb is 2 stage.

For the misfire, i mentioned it as precaution only for other readers who very strongly believe in

Hi , Some Observations in last few days.

Drive Some days As it is - The car behaviour was same.

Added Xado additive one more time 2 days ago - The Jerk has improved a little bit 30 40%.

During Drive Around 60 speed when We lift the Foot from pedal and let car De accelerate on its own - When the car is about to reach 40 speed. At this moment if i place foot on pedal the car shakes back and forth for 1 second. (The Problem with car In this thread)

In above scenario when foot took off at 60 speed and when the car reaches 40 speed if i Shift the Gear to N (it feels like The tcc is unlocked) and put back in D (Once done) Now At this moment i Place foot on pedal There is no jerk , Tcc is unlocked and slipping and all is well and smooth.

Now the question is if i do this thing In 4 out of 10 Scenes i can avoid 90% jerks i am facing. CAN this Thing of N-D for 2 seconds Can cause damage to transmission? Any Explanations on it. No sure about damage of this But I am sure that back and forth jerk will cause alot of more damage then this. Just confirming.

I would advise to keep it in S mode in city low speed driving.

i know a dumb @5 who kept driving in S
and over heated his car

if you checked his transmissions temperature - it would have been barbecue level hot.

I didn't meant to drive it continuously in S mode, only where it is needed in shudder speed range. Driving any trany car definitely over heats the trany. it doesn't mean that you drive at 3500/4000 rpm plus at say 60 / 70 km/hr. For sure it will fry the trany.
