Toyota Hilux 1991 - Best city for suspension and interior work?

Dear All,

I hope you are well.

I need complete guidance please.

I am from Lahore and I own a Toyota Hilux 1991 and want to change the suspension and interior, currently its a very bumpy and wobbly ride wide turns and pretty much chaos, also interior is dead, please advise which city and if possible which market or mechanic can do complete suspension work and if possible provide for example surf or hilix interior, I have heard about SWAT Peshawar Quetta etc. But I dont know where to go.

Peshawar i would suggest...pathans are very fond of this vehicle and i have seen many hilux renovating in shoba bazar during my visit 1.5 years back...but i m not an expert on this others may guide u better

If travelling to another city is no problem, then Quetta might be your best bet. Get everything replaced with an NCP. There are some people doing this in Swat as well.

In Pindi a section of IJP road is littered with bodies and engines of single and double cabin Toyota pickups. Every single nut bolt is available in shops of this scrap yard.

While new parts like suspension bushings, bearings, seals and shock absorbers etc can be sourced from Saddar and Gawalmandi shops.

Still if you want to enjoy good weather then Quetta or Swat are good options.

Hey guys I have been recieving feedback mostly regarding Shoba Bazar peshawar for Hilux 1991 model, can any expert make a final comment in this regard, I am not an expert but I want to change complete suspension, kamania, shaft, agli pishli tube, godai, axil, champer, tawe, drum, bush, chimtai, hub, everything genuine kaabli.
Again I confirm I have very little knowledge regarding this but as far as I am aware the engine is good but if anyone can advise what else to get changed in the bonnet for extreme performance.
