Update:

They have finally informed me that the colour I've chosen has been discontinued and that I need to change my colour choice. This is two months after the delivery date and despite my persistent calls/emails to the showroom and Indus. Needless to say absolutely pathetic from the company. Do I have any means of formal complaint to any authority? I'm not interested in a change of colour or the measly free service they have offered me as compensation. Any advice?

Well can't say for sure but try threatening the dealership of consumer court and Indus about emailing toyota global (Japan)

All these three r the same I booked a Honda Civic of atlas it was due before 31st august the vehicle reached showroom on 18th July however no one bothered to inform me as u might know people at atlas seldom answer the help line
When finally my call got through atlas told me the vehicle has been dispatched this was on 10th august I started complaining about the dealership not informing me they said they might be busy !!!!!

Yes in 2007 I got a Honda Civic from City Sales in Lahore and they did not inform me either. Called them and found car has been standing in their yard for almost 2 weeks.

which color did u booked? Never heard of any colors been discontinued in Revo or Fortuner, maybe its short in production.

Yep. Extremely frustrating. Hopeful that the new companies coming in help improve consumer welfare due to greater competition. Guess who just announced an increased total net profit of 13 billion. Indus.

Oh i just saw on toyota indus website, red color has been removed and even Honda has discontinued rallye red color in civic.

Although this was the sort of introductory flagship colour for revo here and major parts of the world as well

Does anyone know what brand or accessories Indus has available?

I think I want a stabiliser bar and utility box initially at least. So any clue what brands they offer?

For the rest after I've driven it for a bit will have a better feel for what I need. Any experience of cooper tires?

I hope this is the case however I believe it is very unlikely. I spoke to a representative of the dealership and he said this price raise had come about because of an order from the Government of Pakistan.

Push start and a better engine would obviously be very enviable though.

@ahsontariq any information with regards to whether the price raise also brings about newer and added specifications to the vehicle?

In Thailand the fully loaded Revo is for 1.14m bahts which is around 3.6m pkr and here its for 4.4m with older diesel engine with less features....i have not add ckd/cbu but still its high price for local Revo V.

I heard from two different sources about push start and new diesel engine will be coming in Revo/Fortuner in couple of months and this i heard back in May/June now i think its just rumors.

Exactly. It is very unfortunate that every single car we purchase in Pakistan is not only overpriced compared to the international market but we aren't even being offered the full facilities.

I really hope it wasn't rumors man.

That's Dr Naseer Baloch's Lodge. Nice place considering the facilities in the area. Went there in my Revo late December last year and had loads of fun there and around with family. Safe passage and place with friendly locals.

What the bloody hell? Outrageous. They continue to increase the price without any additions to the car. Honestly, I'm very disappointed. I was ALREADY going over my range by opting for the Revo and additions of 200K RS have been made ever since I booked the vehicle.

I'm very disappointed and this may end up not being too fruitful of a decision for me if this keeps on happening. The second darn increment since I've booked the Revo V. My truck is due in November and if there is another price raise, I might just sell it after getting the vehicle.

Thoroughly disappointed and I cannot express more grief over this. This is blatant robbery.

You can cancel your booking for a full refund in case of price increase after your booking. This is written on back of PBO form.

I booked Fortuner, delivery due in December. But considering cancelling as they increased price 150,000 without offering features. Corolla now comes with VSC, TRC and push start button, while expensive higher end vehicles like Revo and Fortuner have none.

I recently got my Revo V. As of now I've just installed the seats at the rear. I was looking at bumper replacements, but don't want to change shocks right away. If I get something like the Hammer bumpers or Rival, will the existing shocks be under extra duress? Will they be able to handle the added load? Especially the front ones.

Also have you guys managed to figure out how to access the secret / service menu on the TFT screen?
