Although I was strongly advised by most people with whom I consulted to immediately go for suspension upgrades (2 front coil springs and all four shockers) upon installation of front and rear bull bars, however, after my own study of the matter which involved consulting a 4x4 specialist mechanic, writing to Toyota Australia and contacting my own contacts within IMCL, I came to the conclusion that while increasing weights - around 50-70 kg in front and around 25 kg to 35 kg in rear, will increase wear and tear of my shockers and coil springs, however, since I am not into "serious" off-roading or rally-racing, these stock suspension parts will last at least 60-75% of their normal life and therefore, I am continuing with them at least till I clock 45k on the ODO. Regarding the general belief that the front (heavier) bull bar will reduce vehicle height in the front, I personally checked my Revo's height alongside a brand new stock condition Revo using a measuring tape and the difference was just 0.75" and that too when my Revo had clocked around 12k while the new stock Revo had not even clocked 1k on the ODO. At the rear, the height was exactly the same as the stock Revo.
Regarding "secret / service menu on TFT screen", I have no idea what you're talking about. Please enlighten me with further details.
