Revo hilux side mirror function switch is at the driver door side, so obviously it's going to fit there n the device is very small easily fit inside the door panel.

i also got auto lock mechanism installed for tail gate. Already had shutter lid, now feels like a real boot space.
Works with Central locking system of Revo. it was a bolt on fit with no alternations.

That's pretty cool. I have a Tri-fold lid. It does not have a lock on it and I am managing with it. I hated drilling holes in the liner to install a cover and I don't think I can drill more holes for an aftermarket lock. The material of the tri fold lid are very sturdy and looks like part of the car, this was the reason I went for it. Also after installation I found out that no cover available for these trucks even shutter one is waterproof. Only the fiberglass ones that are one piece and fixed are waterproof. As a solution, I am thinking of getting a waterproof container in big size and carrying it in the the trunk for shopping/ carriage purposes. I recently did grocery in it lol and things went everywhere. I knew the dangers so drove very carefully but still stiff was rolling around in there lol. no groceries wasted or broke btw but still, Not recommended

Been driving the Rocco for 3 days now. The car has exceptional build quality and very good throttle response. Now coming from a sedan, I really feel the bumps lol. Is this how it is supposed to be? I have never driven a 4x4 before. What should be the ideal tire pressure?

haha yeah these kinds of groceries are ok. I had cooking oil, grains, salt and glass jars of different types. Btw doesn't water get into these cement bags and cure it hardening the whole thing into a brick?

The contents of building materials bags were consumed in the masonry works before elements can impact them. The bags are multi layered to save its contents.

One thing I noticed that ride was super duper comfy and light as long as those heavy bags were in the deck. That extra weight was letting the leafsprings flex and making the ride wonderful.

Yup that's a plus with load in the back. My truck has malaysian suspension so it's not that bumpy. Also don't the bags float around on heavy braking? Also cement is quite valuable these days what if someone picks them up while its parked outside. Yours is an open deck too.
When i went to Skardu this year I noticed that the locals had trained their children to open back hatch and check for valuables. Saw and caught these lil snatchers many times and they just come back snooping. Also won't let you enjoy anywhere Alone. This is only for the busier places. Rest of the places where tourists don't visit much are fine.

Please suggest which engine oil/oil filter to use duration for change? previous owner said he was using total 20w 50
also please tell which break oil and power steering oil to use?

I personally fill my car with Liqui moli and its changing time is 10k kms. I am very satisfied. For the first time they will use an engine wash to wash old gunk out of the engine then Ceratec is recommended. Its a ceramic coat for the inside of the engine to fill or prevent any minor scratching from years of use. I went from 20w50 to 10w40 and the car is not reducing oil. I want to try 5w30 but may stick to 10w40as mileage is now nearing 80k kms. Liqui moli is a bit cheaper compared to toyota's 20w50 oil 3500 recommended mileage by toyota for D4D 1Kd engines.
I have a 1KD revo and i went through all the processes mentioned above. I have noticed a quieter engine and the performance has been very good. My car can do 180km/h until speed is locked from ECU any day of the week. Been using it since 2-3 years now.
I also changed gear oil as soon as i got my car just to be safe and that was liqui moli too.

The cargo you are seeing was a one time transfer. It is not left in the deck. Those stuff was heavy and not moved during the normal commute and were offloaded at the destination. Regarding other people accessing your stuff, it is the worst one can expect. May the people get some

I never feel safe leaving stuff in the rear trunk that was my point (because of the style of my trunk lid i.e. tri-fold with no lock). Yes, if one is carrying from A to B then it's not a concern. This a comparison between having lockable system in ones trunk and not about expecting the worst. Also I caught it once so just being honest. Had they asked me for anything I would have helped in whatever way i could. May Allah give everyone and have mercy on us all.

Recommended is 29 PSI. 28 is a good compromise and is what i will recommend after years and many thousands of miles driving a daala. This is for an unladen truck bed btw.

Noob question. How does the water drain from the trunk of Rocco ? Afraid to wash it lol..

Just park it in an inclined place for a couple of minutes after the wash.
