the fully loaded has a 3.0 L fully automatic intercooled turbo engine

paint ofcourse u cant compare to the japaneses paint

but i think the car has got some good reviews

i dont think so PKDM vigo champ comes in 3.0 L intercooled turbo engine its just 2.4 D4D turbo diesel engine!! G grade is fully loaded version!!

Its true that the Vigo Champ has 2.5 liter 2KD-FTV turbo charged common rail engine with a four speed auto transmission, though it may be under powered for some but it definitely serves its purpose. A cousin of mine has taken to northern areas three times as mony months with out even the single problem. Though some of the things like fog lamps seats fabric are typical after market style but all in all its a very reliable and nice looking machine

I'm owner of thai vigo 2007 model. When champ was launched. went to check it out on dealership. Seriously Thai one is much better than this new. Interior, finishing, engine in all aspects. Thai vigo is better.
It's like you are comparing horse with pony.

Thai vigo is 3.0 D4D turbo. which is powerful and fun to drive with AT transmission. Pick and response of thai vigo is unmatched.
Both cars (Thai,champ) has zero comfort level when unloaded.
Rest it's your own choice.

my boss purchased 2 new champs when it was launched to be used on protocol behind a new cygnus, porsche cayyene turbo s, range rover HSE sport v8, 765li, s550, etc both screwed up in 6 months had a thai variant with a covered bed turbo timer leather interior 3.0 at ect transmission before the only problem with that is after driving on pakistani diesel for a year which has a high sulfur content the injectors need to be replaced chinese cost 70000 genuine cost 125000 go for the genuine ones and youll be fine with both pick and fuel avg both have the same fuel avg but thai version is decently faster while being more comfortable my vote goes to the thai version

i paid 9 lac for hilux about 3 years ago..all depends on how palms you have to grease..

9 lacs is veery very reasonable if so i applaud it.

well that is good enaugh but i need a few more with sufficiient backing of proof from others currently good vigos are 20 lack pk in the int market............plus 9 lack and 1 lack clearing 30 quid for a vigo is reasonable

Duty depend on year model. i have NOV 2007 model. import in FEB 2010, direct from Thailand. i paid 9 lakh 32 thousand DUTY
...clearing agent fee+shiping+ Vigo orignal price. yeh sb ap khoud hisab lga layien :).
mujhay 30 lakh mae par gia tha.
