Aoa everyone,needed help since im new in this passion of restoring old vehicles,i got this car a few months back its a 1987 land cruiser,the car has a very unstable steering and grip it keeps shaking while driving slow or fast,it gets worse when there are even minor bumps on the road.For the record i changed the tyres since the old ones were shaking the car even more.need suggestions on what might be the cause.also the car has shocks on front and back both (kamani removed from back).

What's your location?
And did you got the rims checked?

Change the rims from front to back and see if anything changes

A good set of tie rod ends and steering stabilizer usually fix the issue but good to check other related stuff as well.
Start with checking the rims and then you need to check tie rod ends, steering arms, steering stabilizer, steering box, drag link ends, pitman arm, U bolts and shocks.

Brother can you please type them in terms which are more common among the mechanics since i cant make them understand on which part to check cuz they have a very diff terms for different parts

Bro in short get the front suspension inspected.
It looks like something is worn out in front suspension.
If from Islamabad you can come to us for full inspection

ask a mechanic to check for PLAY in Steering rods, ends and front suspension parts

not sure about all of the terms but some are; end (end set), steering wala shock (steering stabilizer) , steering rods (steering rods and draglink) , kamani walay nut (U bolts)

you would also need to check the quality of conversion from Kamani to Coils in the rear
