Another question. Lately I have been searching for some tyres for the BJ 40. Earlier I had bought and sent wagon wheels of 15" size. The tyre prices in Pakistan were skyrocketing, so checked a few places here. 15" tyres availability is quite limited. Now I am thinking of buying 16" wheels (OZ Racing - made in Japan alloys as pictured here) as well as 16" tyres, but I don't know what I will do with the 15" wagon wheels already at home. Any opinion on these OZ Racing wheels?
The center hole diameter was 4.25", the pcd also seems fine. The offset seems to be ok as well, since the back/mounting surface of the rims is quite thick, i.e. towards the inside, but these would require special lug nuts and changing tyres would not be an easy task in case of puncture. On the other hand, some FJ Cruiser rims were also available, but these as I read over the internet need to be carefully selected due to offset and backspacing issues.
What to do???
