Is it a good decision to buy a Mark II Grande today? How reliable it is? What about Mark II spare parts availability and their price? What about routine maintenance cost? Someone told me its average mileage is hardly 8 km per liter; I wonder why to buy this car! Keep in mind that I am comparing this to Toyota Altis requirements. I thank you all for your reply in advance.
It has a shit engine that would crap pretty quick, and horrible gas mileage. The car overall rides pretty good, i.e. has pretty comfortable suspension. Body parts are shit expensive, so is suspension and other mechanical parts.
Thanks for clearing it out; I thought no one would reply. I think it is just like buying a Mercedes C180 1999 model; expensive parts and costly routine maintenance.
To top it all up, people are asking for exorbitant amounts for Mark 2's nowadays. Although I don't see those cars selling.
HelloI am also looking for one. Due to its comfort, heavy engine and low price car, i am planning to go for it. But here seniors are not recommending its purchase. A bit confuse now
Buy from someone who has owned it for a long time and has all the maintenance records. It's not really a bad car, just has a fragile engine and parts are expensive/harder to find. Most parts available are used kabli, you will be unable to find new parts for it.
Brother Is there any thread here where i can post for first owner car?
