Any help out there for how to do this or where to purchase the equivalent in english and anyone who has doen this? if it's even possible? does it effect the other vehicles functions?

So you're saying as I have purchased this from Japan I can not upgrade the Nav system?
Can I not even replace the whole Nav unit with an english version?
