Toyota Mark-X v/s Lexus IS 250

i like Mark X. so i think Mark x is better. but as you said both have same engine. So it depends on the driver not on the car. Maybe both of them are equal or maybe one is faster. It also depends on the weight hope you got my all points

well I would say Mark X, as it looks more elegant and it has got better interior than Lexus IS250. IS is the lowest model in the Lexus range so its just the name u r paying for, on the other hand Mark X is a gr8 car. If you want to go for Lexus than go for GS or LS models, but then they r more expensive. I hope it helps...

Apples and oranges. The IS is more of a performance oriented car compared to the mark x which is luxury oriented

The Lexus IS offers luxury features that the Mark X does not. Please go look up everything that the IS has to offer and then you'll see Mark X is not a luxury saloon. Mark X in Japan is not priced as a luxury saloon, its in the same price segment as an Accord, or Camry, neither of which are luxury cars (contrary to idiots-belief in Pakistan).

Mark X "looks" luxurious to Pakistani people as we're deprived of better cars. Anyway, I'd pick the IS in a heartbeat over the Mark-X.
