I have a 2016 Passo Moda (M700A-GBSE) with CVT transmission. It has a dipstick to check transmission fluid level. I am trying to find the correct procedure to inspect that fluid level.
The transmission fluid dipstick has cold and hot regions. I want to know the specific temperature ranges for them. GMC spec is to to check 'cold' on 27°C-32°C and 'hot' on 72°C-92°C. I don't know if it is the same on Toyota.
I also want to know if the engine is supposed to be running while checking the fluid.
I have access to a scanner which can display transmission oil temperature.
The user manual doesn't show any relating procedure. Google hasn't helped either.
I'll really appreciate some info on this.
