Toyota passo auto fan problem

Dear All...I just bought toyota passo 11....i am facing problem since i bought i did not see automatically fan is not on....but it get on when ac is on...is this normal....really worry about this...

if you can check if the thermostat valve present in engine? - in cold engine remove radiator cap and start the engine watch carefully if the coolant in radiator at cold engine started flowing in a direction that means thermostat valve is missing. you shall buy thermostat and get it installed. before going to electrician for fan issue.

Thx...just to mention i just travelled to faislabad....it did not show any engin heat light....

this is normal. do try it without ac. start the car and let it heat for few minutes, watch the temp guage if have,when the temp comes to an optimum the thermostate valve opens and fan will start then.
if your car is getting heatup then theres an issue. otherwise its normal.

Thx....there is no guage in passo...yes i try to keep car on for some time...but fan did not on....i think it is not getting heat....but concern is ...... till the date i bought i did not see fan on....if any body has passo....please share experience.....then i will take it to mech.....

Simple solution goto electrician connect scanner. Start monitoring car temp.Start car without AC. FAN will run at 100C for few seconds and turn off at 95C.
