why do you plan to go for Brake service/tuning? we imported a Vitz 2014 last year and car is running on roads since then without even a touch of any mechanic - no tuning/brake needed. only oil was changed as it was really bad. and i am talking about karachi too.

theres that motor clean, they do it with help of hydrogen without any disassembly

14 with AC should be good average. Anything better is very dependent on traffic condition, driving style.

I have Passo Moda 2017 model. My car is giving me 12km/l (as shown in the meter) with AC. I got it with the meter showing 2000km and currently it is at almost 3000 km.

I have gotten the engine oil changed, oil filter changed and air filter cleaned.

Any tips to keep the car maintained and healthy condition.

Salam, guys I parked my car on an uneven/sloped road so the car was in P and after I came and sat, the gear got too tight and wouldn't shift (usually happens when the car moves slightly on a slope after being put in P) so I had to put some unusual force against the gear after which it shifted to D, my question is: does putting force against the gear in such a situation have any harm to the gear box or any component?

Better use parking brake too in such situation.

I think putting car in N then applying e-brake & then putting in P, will never create this situation and take pressure of the gearbox.

well as this actual "POST" is from previous sections in 2013.

But i would like to share my experience and a fix to this issue which at first i was facing in my PASSO 2007 and then in 2010 and then Wagon R 660cc that whenever i used to park the car at some inclined area its gear tend to get hard and kind of stucked and needed some force to move it from "P" to "R" or "D" so to avoid this you need to push the Footbrake first and then shift the gear at "P" while Parking the car. There may be some mechanical phenomenon behind it but this is the solution to avoid the gearbox being stuck.

Dear All,

Alhamdulillah got my Passo 2015 yesterday. It's 23856 on odometer, got the oil, oil filter and air filter changed.

It was giving me 6.6km/l, drove around 20 km and the average went up to 8.3km/l (AC on)

I'm hoping it would get better the more I drive?

Very poor fuel economy. You need to do something about it.

Do the following as step1:

1- Use 5W-30 oil with API certification having SN grade.

2- Get your vehicle scanned from Toyota 3S for any defective sensors.

3- Get the O2 (lambda) sensors checked from Toyota 3S.

4- Carry out wheel alignment and balancing.

Do the above and report back. I shall next guide you to solve the poor fuel economy issue.

1- used 5w-30 fully synthetic oil with API certification.

2 & 3 - will get the sensors checked. I got it inspected by pak wheels, they didn't highlight any issue though.

4- yes alignment is out

Also check crank shaft position sensor if possible.
