is it possible to fit Hana projection lamps in say normal passo? (call it keera aur shashka) but iv just been thinking about it...didnt have enough money to purchase a hana when i was buying me a car...so opted for a normal passo...

You take a Corolla Altis or a Vitz or a passo to Toyota centre they will pour Toyota genuine oil i.e petrol 20w50. They don't care if its a local 1600cc or a Japanese 1000cc car.
Recommended oil for best fuel economy is 0w20 in Passo manual.
I own a vitz but its the same engine in both cars. Same thing happened to me when i first got my oil changed from Toyota. I called Toyota Germany and emailed Toyota Japan about the recommended oil for vitz in Pakistan. They recommended 0w20 or 5w30.
As i was getting bad fuel economy so changed the oil just after 1000kms to Toyota genuine oil 05w30 that comes in a tin pack imported from Japan. To my surprise, i got better acceleration response and fuel economy was 15.6kms/l in city. Car was smooth as butter again and i was able to start it in the morning with just a half self start.
Its just the wrong thick oil that is affecting your fuel average. Engine needs to work more to push the thick oil to all engine parts resulting in poor fuel average and more paddle to achieve the desired speed.

Yes.. It is available at all Toyota workhops at least in Lahore. I got mine from Toyota Ravi motors near Niaz Beg.
Usually the mechanics doesn't know that this oil is available or not. Just go to main reception and you will get it. There are many other brands selling same specs oil but just to be sure that i do not buy a fake oil or a local oil which is produced by recycling used oil(i heard it from someone).
Its made in Japan by Toyota for their own cars and also recommended for Toyota vitz. Not just peace of mind but performance speaks itself.

Just another add up.. From last two full tanks i fill 1000rs of high octane when the reserve light start blinking. Then again get the tank full by normal petrol.
With that 7litres HOBC and 4litres reserve normal petrol the car runs sooooo smooth and fast that it doesn't feel like a 1000cc car. I really enjoy driving my car in that interval. Try it yourself and let me know..
Though i have tried full tank of HOBC but thats not economical. By adding 1000rs HOBC i get the pleasure as well as the satisfaction that high octane has run through its veins and cleaned the deposits a bit..

Hi to all. Can someone tell me where is the location of speed sensor of toyota passo 2004? Its because sometimes my speedometer doesnt work maybe it needs changing and I plan to do it myself as here in New Zealand they charge so high.also is there a guide on DIY change oil?

where abouts are in nz? the speed sensor is located at the transmission as i remm.. well before you replace it its always better to run a test via obd as it may be not the speed sensor it can be the cluster as well..

check the price of unregistered passo 2008 same specs from your local dealers, then you can have idea about your friends car price

ABS Light IS ON AFTER I GOT IT WASHED
The issue is in left rear wheel sensor ... But it sealed inside the HUB & can not be reached for cleaning
CAN any one help?

drive for some time, and let the water to dry itself, if the ABS sensor is not faulty, then the ABS light will automatically turn off

Yes first i also thought so that it will dry and get okay ... but its faulty for many months now...
Real Issue is that ABS Sensor is Packed sealed in the back wheel HUB (& not like VITS which has open sensors near hub)
other wise a single spray of WD 40 was good for this job..Solution seems to be is replacing the whole hub..
Waiting to hear from some one on this passo fan club who went through this problem and can share views

were you able to sort out the problem I have a 2006 passo and the O/D light blinks intermittently too and the check engine like comes On as while . I have tried to replace the camshaft sensor no change. Any ideas

I want to ask that how to flush 2011 Toyota PASSO CVT oil?? where is the CVT Fluid filling port (eg TC in case of vitz)?? I can see cvt dipstick in PASSO unlike vitz. Is there a plastic filling port in drain plug like vitz??

if you don't have a tc port, it probably has to be filled through the dipstick line.. If o remember correctly, the drain procedure is the same as vitz or corolla

mine is Passo 2007, non-cvt
when i got its ATF changed from Toyota I-9, they filled the oil from dipstick port.

My diahatsu boon AC was not working that well (guzara like), i went to a mechanic he said AC gas is a little less, he filled up some gas and disconnected heater pipes and after that it was completely gone. Another mechanic said that diahatsu mira and boon has slightly diff AC gas than what all mechanics have. He said i should not have filled gas and now i should go to toyota dealership. Although it says HFC 134a gas for diahatsu boon. Has anyone else faced similar issue ? how much does toyota charge for gas ?

If it says 134a then no problem all of these fill 134a , he wanted to scare you so next time you'll visit him
