To all Passo owners, hows your car ACs holding up in afternoon timings when temp is crossing 40C?

Eg. when you have to idle in sun for 30min or so.

Ac takes time in cooling like 30 minutes but still doesn't cool as it cool in evening

I'm feeling vibration in steering when I press brakes. What could be the issue? Model 13(non accidented)

Always or sometimes? Because sometimes hard braking can cause steering vibrations.
Observe on plain road braking lightly

Always i press brakes I feel minor vibration. Itvwas not before just after I purchased the car

I have to keep blower at 3 speed in start but then it cools down and i reduce it to 2 or 1...

i looked around and found a dealer in lahore (wajid sons), they deal in batteries for merc, porsche audi etc
so i talked to him and he recommended hankook ultra high performance battery for eco idle cars
asking 7200 and 6 months warranty

You are describing a classic case of warped front discs. You have 2 options. 1 - replace them or 2 - machine them. I have always replaced discs on my cars. Thats because due to the poor and unprofessional machinists the discs end up worse after machining.

How much of a price difference would be of a 4 grade (for example) passo and identical condition and year boon?

Today i went for my car's 80k service/checkup

1st i went to toyota rawal motors but they were all booked up, they asked me to come back on monday.
One the way back i found a good place "GARAGE 15" so i went there and get all things done.

Gear oil change and its filter cleaned( toyota cvt )
Spark plug change (denso iridium)
Throtel body cleaned
Brake service

And most important they get rid of that annoying problem of rattling sound comes from passo's front suspension

The prob was in the calipers of front disk brakes, they have little play, so they have put some packing in it and make them play-less and thus all sounds are gone which comes on bumpy roads.

Very good service and cheaper then toyota company but all facilities plus work shop is like high end company work shop.

If someone is in rwp/Islamabad its highly recommend.

You Mechanic has looted you why did he charge labor twice Rs 1500 for engine tuning and throttle Cleaning . ,Labor gear oil changed should be included in the same cost not Seprate Denso or NGK Spar plug in market is not more than Rs 1000 Thier is no Carbrator in Passo its EFI Car and if it means Carborator cleaner fluid it Should be included in Service charges and if you buy its not more than 100 rs

What is average Mileage for models like 2007 ? i am getting about 12.3 on AC these days car registration is 2011 December Plugs,Battery,Radiator and Coolant are Recently change along with Fuel Pump which was clought before , Tyres were replaced about 6 months back with chinesS Tyre 14 size, shoes were replaced and Front disc were Faced I usually Clean Throttle once a month and i also replaced air filter after 5 weeks still i am having only 12.3 to 12.5 on Ac .

Dear,

2011 Passo is old shape and non CVT, so I think it's mileage is ok. I have 2013 CVT Passo and I'm getting 14 in city with AC. So I guess it's ok.
Furthermore your driving conditions also affect mileage, I drive with light foot and no sudden accelerations. Try that..
Also calculate mileage by filling full tank not what meter shows because sometimes there is variations in both. Manual method will yield you 100% accurate results.

Umar thank you for replying well i Normal Drive on light off my road doesn't have much traffic idle either
I usually Turn off the AC on idle or if approaching to Red light (SIGNAL) and I usually turn off air con when Heading on the Bridges even to provide car Engine Relief still i dont find much Difference i also mix the 95 RON With Normal Unleaded 50/50 it didnt help a lot on mileage but it really help with the Pick up so i found its 12.3 on Average which is Quite Fine?
