The available brands that I know of are liqui-moly and profi-car, both are german but the later is far cheaper and still as effective. They have many dealerships in twin cities, u can message me if u need a specific address still.

In faisalabad you should be able to source the exact pads for passo in advics brand, its a bit expensive then akebono and fbl but the later's availability might be a question mark there. All these brands do a pretty decent job, I personally don't have any faith in these items branded as "genuine".

It’s not wise to compromise on brake pads using non-original ones. If it’s a body part one can understand but for brakes, it’s not a wise decision.

Just imagine 850 rupees for barke pads sold at the auto parts shop. What will be the manufacturing cost? The auto parts shop is also making profit and so is the middle man or distributor. If manufacturing cost is Rs. 300 with profit of Rs. 150 then imagine what quality a 300 rupees brake pad will posses? What quality of asbestos will have?

I recently changed battery. Go for dry battery I had good experience with it. Costs around 4000. Fujika Japanese.

Hello. I am new to this forum. Bought 2016 passo recently. Therefore,started reading the post on this forum. It's practically impossible to go through all of them. Only gone through the last 100 posts. I have few questions. I found the engine noise too loud esp when you press the gas/ accelerator. The sound mimics a bit like that of a diesel engine and disappears immediately when the car gains speed. A friend of mine who owns passo says it's normal. I wonder if it's true or I need to do something about it. Otherwise, the feel of ride and the economy is pretty impressive.

Welcome to the Passo fraternity. Yes it does sound like a Diesel. But once you are on the move with a small throttle opening it sounds just fine. I found it to be a very impressive little car. Very roomy and with a fine ride. If you are OK with the leisurely acceleration you will continue to be impressed. I searched high and low for an english manual but couldn't find one. Hope you have better luck.

Found this link for passo manual. But it's for old model. Also English is not gramatically correct. Seems a copy from some translation app. But you can make a sense out of it. Hope it helps those who own the relevant model.
