Can someone tell me which is this sensor and what's it's function. In my car passo 2009 , it got disconnected however I did not get any indication. (Engine Light or some other light ). I got it connected now and mechanics says that this sensor might be faulty .

Problem: 1) on 2nd or third gear with lower speed, there is some sort of knocking or engine vibration noise ( i am not sure about the sound but engine losses the power for sure ).
To avoid this, I used to take off my feet from the acceleration paddle for 4 to 5 sec and then start accelerating again to avoid this engine misbehaviour.

2) usually on third gear, on a constant rpm, there is sudden change in pick with a little jolt and increase in car acceleration roughly after 10 sec.

All of the above issueswere not observed before 1k km.Overall, it feels like engine is running under power but at the same time i have been getting fuel average of around 18 to 20. I am not sure what engine oil was used by the owner but currently, i am using shell hx7 5w30.

Doesn't your car have CVT transmission?

As per specification Yes it does have. It is X variant.

Bro then it doesn't have the conventional automatic transmission like 1,2,3 gear shifting. I think the things you have mentioned are normal behaviours of this transmission. Do test drive another Passo and compare the drive with your car.

Check air filter. 1KR tend to behave sluggish with chocked air filters. also I think if your CVT is jumping steps that is a sign engine is causing misfires. I would recomend the following:
1. Air Filter check
2. all coils are connected and working
3. spark plugs are still in useable condition
4. all injectors are working
5. fuel pump is not chocked

get your catalytic checked too, it might be chocked
and also examine your cvt fluid

Its the oxygen sensor that is placed after the catalytic converter in exhaust system.

Salaam everyone. I wanted to ask what is the fair price for 2006 Boon(White) 1.0 L basic package. Odometer is almost 1 lac KMS and Engine is in good health and suspension is fine as well.
And how much a 2014 Boon(White) Eco idle, with mileage of 51,000 KMS will cost(Mileage is genuine and it a 4 grade car , registered 2017 and it's been only used for 5000 KMS in Karachi) ? I asked one of car dealers and he is asking 13.5 lac will come to 13 eventually. Is this a fair price for a 2014 model and kindly also tell about the 2006 Boon price. Jazak Allah

2014 price wud be fine at 13 lacs

Cant comment on the 2006, its quite old, dont have much of an idea.

But do verify the auction sheet before buying.

Actually it’s giving fuel avg of 9 KM with AC in city then at the time of its tuning from Toyota Airport I came to know it has back shafts and 4WD. Toyota international Officials are claiming that these cars would give you 24 Km/L.

3- What you have done with regards to “Tunning” after you got the car.

mileage is almost 9,000 KM as reflecting in its meter, i took it at Toyo Airport Motors and asked them to change its oil and do its tuning. They changed its oil Toyota CVT 0-20 its oil filter, engine tune and throttle body service.
I remember when seller handed over Car it was showing average of 17.5 Km/L. When my brother drive it home from DHA Rahbar to Bhatta Chowk via ring road then it showed 14.5 Km/L then next morning after service from Workshop it never went up from 8.5 km/L.

I think buckle up seat belts does not matter in fuel efficiency??

my toyota passo 2007 can hardly touch 120kph on level highways. what to check for troubleshooting?

Do the following:

1) Carry out cleaning of fuel injection nozzle ( Removal and cleaning using ultrasonic cleaning method).

2) Check condition of catalytic converter.

Do above initially, then I shall sujggest you further tips.

I hope you are using 5W30 viscosity oil.
