I am not and expert, but I think, if both the O2 sensor and Cat. Conv. are brand new and in perfect working condition, then issue lies somewhere else (most appropriately, due to some current / voltage / resistance, etc. related issues and wiring, wrong readings are being sent to the ECU, even if both the O2 sensor and Cat. Conv. are absolutely fine).

What I propose is; if there is any check engine light, warning light, etc. try to have the vehicle scanned via OBDII device for any / all fault codes, and take remedial actions accordingly.

Conv. are absolutely fine, and you are still getting warning lights etc., have advanced diagnostics, which may include checking resistance of the sensor(s), and data at sensor, and data being conveyed to the ECU. If values are different (where they must be same at both the ECU and O2 sensor), then it means there is something wrong in-between the ECU and sensor.

(I do not know that whether such facility advanced diagnostic facility exists in Lahore? Who do it? What are the charges? And whether its effective or not? But it seems to be the only logical explanation to me)

@basitali87 the unsurity is that new parts tu miltay nahi one has to rely on used autoparts which means there is n surity that the "so called new" part is working or not...

Few mechnics suggested me that I need to replace my CatConv complete which in used condition from scrap market is reaching a whooping 35k~40k right now for vitz, Ekwagon, passo, boon, alto, and all 1 liter and 600cc cars..

I have called Obamacare like 2~3 times but no one collected the call ... even right now when I am replying I am trying one more time... still no one collected.

What exact error code are u getting? If the error is caaltalytic efficiency below threshold due to poisoned cat converter, there is way around that if u want to avoid expensive cat replacing. A o2 downstream emulator would do the trick

This is the Ditto Error I am facing again and again.. I went to bilal ganj and there I found out cat Convertor is asking price is above 40K on negoatiation no one agreed any thing below 35k

some suggest me to remove battery terminal and put them back the error will go away

some tell me to get the CatCon removed comepeltly..

some suggest me to Flash the cars ECU and remove the CatCon error files manually so that error never comes.

I am just confused about what is right what is wrong.

The car is working like a sweet heart. Milegage, over all useage is tip top.. no issues.. just a check engine light in the dash console. so I am just giving it a blind sight as I have no solution to it.

I will call on the number TinTin1 shared in the morning to see if I can find any solution on ObamaCare ..

can u tell me what is o2 downstream emulator and what trick I need to get done by it ? and where can I get it done ? It will would be great help.

There are two oxygen sensors,one just before the cat(upstream),and one after the cat(downstream). The ecu compares the signal from these two sensors to determine if the cat con is operating satisfactory.()
A small replacement circuit can be designed for downstream sensor to mimic a working cat con condition. Anytime you are in islamabad, let me know,would have a look and see where the actual problem is. Often the problem is much simpler than it actually appears.
like just recently a guy came to me for abs issue after he had replaced the complete hub and and sensor(10000rs kharcha) but the abs error persisted,turns out it was a burnt abs wiring due to out of place headlight bulb.

just tried this number why I have a feeling this is some high profile person.. Where is Obamacare which tulip block now I am more curious.. lolxx I may pay a actual visit forget calling.. lolxx

BTW, try his ufone 0334-0006898 because i mostly see him attending this number most of the time.

just tried again on 0321 4106898 and then on 0334-0006898 ufone is off and warid no one collected, any ways I think I can pay a visit where in lahore is the Tipu block any one can give me cordinates ? google map pin or any thing... I would like to get the diahatsu checked for sure.
