Now an honest review of Boon:
Tyres were giving humming sound. Because front tyres had completed their life, therefore I changed all the tyres and this problem gone. Searched every where (Nila Gumbud, Mozang and Faisal town) for stock tyres 155/80/13 but except general tyres, there was no option. Switched over to Chinese Jinyu tyres 165/80/13 and the problem of ground clearance solved as well. 165 is not that wide but combination of 165/80 increased ground clearnace.
Took the car to a renowned Toyota 3S dealer and they said that they dont have any software or whatever even for Vitz. However, I changed engine oil (4L) japanese toyota engine oil, changed gear oil (3L of 1L pack) of japanese original gear oil AT transmission, changed oil filter, changed spark plugs to denso iridium, cleaned throttle. After this my Boon was ready for the road.
Yesterday, my ride completed 300km on soft padel. It gave an average of 16km that included 50km on motorway and 50km on highway on AC. I used hi octane.
I can compare this with Reborn that I had from 2006 to 2010 and with Toyota 2010 GLI model that I currently have. Boon's drive is similar to reborn's when it comes to softness of drive and braking efficiency. But it is much much better than my Toyota 2010 in terms of braking and driving pleasure.
It feels comparatively roomy than reborn/corolla and significantly roomy than Vitz. Trunk space is also adequate if not enough.
What I dont like (please share your thoughts):
Under speed of 10km when you press the brake pedal, wheels give sound. Mechanic said its normal for automatic cars.....
Front doors do not close smoothly but with souund. This I noticed with every JDM car on Jail road. I dont know why.
Car is smooth but on uneven road, I can hear rattling sounds. Perhaps jdm's are not designed for Paki roads.
At speed over 120km, I did not feel comfortable with its power steering as it became more soft which is dangerous. My corolla's power steering feels much safe at speed over 120km.
Hope it helps the guys who intend to buy a 1000cc jdm car
