Don't take AWD with its shaft removed.

Bcaz its ECU is set to drive 4 wheels, so it will consume more petrol. I have seen a person who has done everything (including shaft removal) to get 2WD consumption but all in vain. So get a 2wd car.

Help needed
my passo remote is not working properly, that is bit damaged and my passo key is not chip coded that is only used to unlock the doors.with out remote my passo does not starts.some time my remote works properly and mostly not. How can I get new remote or smart key and how much does this costs.please advice me to get rid of this mess.and also tell me that how chip coded key = smart key works.

brother, dont go for a new remote, its very costly and full of khawari to get one.

first change the remote's battery,
the key which is inside the remote can only unlock/lock doors.

but the main key, which is number [3] in the below picture, it has a chip inside and it can start the car without the remote.

Thanks to Almighty Allah i have bought the good looking silver Passo 2007, with HID lights, Hood, antennae, good tyres, dvd, registered in 2012 june in 9 lac rs
I think its good in price. I am satisfied with its drive Alhamdulilah. Now i want to ask is it the normal voice that when breaks are applied, it makes this dug dug voice. The dealer said its normal for ABS.

If U are applying the breaks suddenly or with a sudden pressure than it'll make that dug dug sound because ABS gets activated...

U can get a new spare remote from karachi i know a person over there who do programming of it too... U'll have to send ur remote to him and he'll do the programming from it and will send u back...

Cell replace Kia hy. But remote is damaged kisi waqat sahi kam kerta hy baki nahi. Key number plate Bhi nahi and chip coded key Bhi nahi hy mere pass. Abb mujhe Kia kerna chahye

Its size is less than 1 sq inch. Device is attached with a wire going to thee roof. Seems to be it is a factory installed things.. Allah knows.
Do any one have knowledge of it? Does any other passo/boon have it?

antennae comes with a wire pasted on glass, but he is saying a 1 sq inch device with LED on it.
maybe its something else.

navi antennae is without any light, and mostly pasted on dashboard,
although digital tv antenaae is located on the top of windscreen.

That is an electronic tax collector(etc) i think so

Its ETC - electronic tol collector. No use of it in pakistan so far.

No hassan bhai... The thing is smaller than this. May be a electronic tax collector as this led is never lighting.. I tried to take pic but because of sunlight, it is not clear. I will take pic in eve and upload. Wire is going to into roof and device is like it is pasted with sticking paper on screen. Nav antena i dnt think as car dont have nav system. There are two more wires out of hole in bigger pocket infront os passenger seat. Seems somethings was used in Japan but now it is removed. I will take pictures and upload. Hopefully forum will help me to recognize.
