How to use Plasmacluster switch ?
1. When upper button. (CLEAN) is pressed.
Clean mode is on. Blue indicator is activated. Starting to produce same volume of both positive and negative ions using H2O and O2. while killing Germs and Fungus using ion qualities.
2. When Middle button (Ion) is pressed.
Switched off. No effects and indicators.
3. When the lower button (ION) is pressed.
Ion Control Mode is on. Green indicator is activated. Starting to produce higher volume of Negative ions to stable the ion balance of air and keep clean of air by neutralizing the smells of toxic substances (like tobacco smoke).
Be careful when use .
As it may cause to reduce the battery life, Do not use for long when the engine is switched off

There are 3 sound generators:

1. Bonnet, probably needs to be adjusted by some dentor.
2. Trunk, its probably the lock that makes sounds in bad and bumpy roads.
3. This one is the real evil. Whenever i turn the steering, this weird sound comes out. A local guy says its 'probably' the steering box and needs to be replaced. I can't rely on guesses and want an expert opinion on it.

Well the lights are headlights and not the bulbs. Though they are clean but the yellowish shade isn't catchy. I want to get it removed, somehow, although it looks like something original.

original ones are not yellowish, yours probably are roughly used, you can get the headlights glass buffed, there are many ppl who can buff headlights in Sultan da khoo, the will charge about 400-800 Rs.
or in isb G-10 markaz.

Dear Passo fellows,

I have 2006 Passo. Last year I went to Lahore from Islamabad through Motorway and I got the average of 21.9km/L with full 430kg load at 85-100km/h speed, but unfortunately I couldn't take picture. but this time i took and its around 19.5km/l against 360km without AC and average speed between 95-110km/h.

How come my milege meter keeps on fluctuating from 10 km/l to 40 km/l

you are viewing the TRIP A mileage meter,
i mean if you are on the ODO display, and
you press MODE button once -> goto Trip A
again MODE button -> goto Trip B
again MODE button -> goto Trip A mileage (thats what you are viewing)
again MODE button -> goto Trip A Average mileage ( that shows the average mileage you are looking for)

the one you are viewing changes from 0.0 to 99.9 km/ltr, that is actually showing the mileage you can achieve if u remain at same acceleration, same gear, same speed.
means it calculates the mileage according to that particular time instant's speed, acceleration, gear, etc.

brother, dont go for a new remote, its very costly and full of khawari to get one.

first change the remote's battery,
the key which is inside the remote can only unlock/lock doors.

but the main key, which is number [3] in the below picture, it has a chip inside and it can start the car without the remote.

How can 3 be taken out of the remote?

Nope no issues in axle. When i bought my passo, it had dhug dhug sound in steering. Which my mechanic fixed it in 1,200.

I sent my passo to shahjee for spacers for road clearance. They charged 2,500/- (if i remember correctly).

How can 3 be taken out of the remote?

[3] is a seperate key, a typical key which comes with all cars with a black plasctic grip.

[2] can be taken oit of remote by siding the button on the remote.
you can check if you have got the main key [3] with your car or not.
as i have seen many cars which comes only with remote and [2] key inside it, (and not the main key [3])

It is normal issue with passo which arises after 20 to 25 k kms. The gap is created in steering rod (i dont know what it is called), that is repaired by layth machine guy.

1) yes they are easily replaceable, but first check if it is not working with one door, or all doors, cz sometimes the door button is not fully released when door is opened, so light donot turn On,
if the bulb is fused, change it.
it is a simple dome light bulb of this type

You can easily change that bulb..it costs 10-20rs....
First check if its fuse is ok or not....fusebox is located in engine compartment on left side....

usually fuse dont get faulty, if you havent messed with the modification of bulb/wiring etc.

first check if the bulb itself is blown or there is something with the fuse (fuse box) or door switches.

@us000, bro thanks a lot for your help but actually the fuses were fine because they seemed to be really new like untouched, and then I heard that the compressor doesn't turns on if there's no sufficient GAS as there are sensors which doesn't let the compressor switch on if there's no gas.

And I'm sorry for the confusion actually I didn't know how smart key looked like and my key has these 2 buttons of lock and unlock so that means it's keyless entry thing not the smart key. And yes bro it has dual lights (genuine HIDS and also yellow normal light effect).

@us000 AND ALL OTHER PASSO GUYS I BADLY NEED YOUR HELP! Today I got one of my powered side mirror stolen while it was parked and I was gone somewhere and after coming back I found that one of the side mirror got stolen and it broke my heart brothers! It literally did :(, I'm so possesive about my car, anyways, now after this incident I sat in my car and came home and the other side mirror and all options were working fine, but then when I sat in the car the other time, on the same day, it's dvd screen is blank, the other side mirror isn't working and also the plasma-cluster option isn't working too, HOW IS THAT POSSiBLE? Is that because of the wires that are just hanging in the place of that stolen side mirror? But they were seperated already as in their ends weren't touching to eachother! PLEASE TELL ME WHAT TO DO I'm really dependent on your posts guys! Please help me
