Toyota Passo ECO Mode ON vs OFF performance difference

Hi.

So I have a Toyota Passo 2014. The ECO is on by default and it goes away if I press the pedal a bit harder. I wanted to ask, if I disable it will the performance be similar to when it goes away while pressing the pedal hard or it will be better?
