I recently changed my oil from 10w-40 to 5w30 for my Passo 2013 (1kr-fe). Will it cause any damage to my car? Kindly answer

If engine health is perfect in all respects, there is no smoke, compression is great, you are not facing any oil reduction issues, etc. then YES! 5w-30 would be a Great choice, provided that 5w-30 meets following requirements:

Fully Synthetic
From some reputed brand (Total, Shell, Kixx, etc.)
100% genuine and original (Most Important Factor)
Meets API SN / SN Plus, and / or ILSAC GF5 criteria

My personal recommendation would be Total Quartz 9000 Future series in 5w-30. Its best for bucks!

Is it fully synthetic or semi?

I believe, local Shell 5w-30, in blue color pack, is semi-synthetic.

Yes it came in blue packaging. How much can i expect from it in round year use, millage and when do i have to get next oil change

Brother, its being semi-synthetic, I would suggest to get rid of it (but of course after driving on it for 3000-4000 Kms), and switch to some fully synthetic oil.

As stated above, Total Quartz 9000 Future series in 5w-30 is best for bucks!

You may switch to it, and use it round the year use.

You can use Total Quartz 9000 Future series 5w-30 for 06 months / 5,000 Kms (whichever comes first) and then change oil, along with genuine, OEM Oil Filter.

(I am using ZIC A+ 5w-20 in my Vitz, and change oil + oil filter after every 5,000 Kms)

Do keep a check on engine oil level. Routinely check level on engine oil dipstick, and in case of any oil reduction, top up, and also let know here.

Sure brother. I changed my oil filter just today with the oil change. The mechanic said it was a good quality air filter costed me around Rs700/-. Are there any good air filters available for Passo?

Yes Brother. Good filters are available for Passo. You may choose between Genuine, OEMs one (which is the most preferable) or Leppon.

Guard filters or cheap ones, etc. may be avoided.

i have a toyota passo 2010 new shape one and previously the owner of the car used 10w-40 so i used it for years but recently i got the car tuned and the mechanic said that thw car was blowing white smoke on idle and so i should shift to 20w-50 which is what i am currently using but after coming to this forum i have realised that teh recommended oil is 5w-30 or 0w-20 which makes me worry that 20w-50 might ruin my cars engine my car has a mileage of 106l

ofc 20w50 gonna ruin your engine. Pour in less viscous oil and see if it burns

White smoke isn't because of oil. Does it give white smoke when its cold outside? If that's the case then that's condensation and it's 100% normal.
Keep on monitoring your oil and coolant levels, if they're fine then change your mechanic.

well my coolant levels never go down i keep checking them all the time but oil is different even with this 20w-50 at first it stays full but at the end the dipstick is usually between the maximum and minimum

So it is reducing some oil, but in a minute quantity.
I know there are some who says it's normal, but there is some reduction on a very thick oil.
Shifting to 5w30 isn't a good thing at the moment you might end up burning more oil.
Please change its pcv valve. Get it from good parts dealer like partscentral: https://www.facebook.com/PartsCentralPK/ and pour toyota taglon 5w50 after it. If you don't face any reduction then you can shift to 10w40 on the oil change after this. If you still don't face any reduction on 10w40 then you can choose 5w30 or 10w30.
