Toyota Pixis Average Issue (9.6 km/L)

Hi guys how are you.
I am posting regarding my Toyota Pixis (same as Mira).
Even after tunning, change of oil, oil filter, air filter, AC filter and new plugs my Mira is giving me an average of 9.6 to 10.5 KM/L average. But few months ago average was about 15 - 16 KM/L on AC all the time.
I refill atleast 1000 of petrol every 3rd or 4th day in my car.
Please help. What should I do? I am from Hyderabad. My Mira is 3 years old only and its still new and one hand only. Its my personal vehicle.

Do you feel any lag in acceleration
and did you install the correct plugs or whatever the mechanic recommend.

Whts the mileage and why did u replace plugs?

Yes the plugs are correct. The old were over used so I got new ones to install. Engine oil same as before, Toyota.
My car dropped down to the average of 9 so I thought of tunning. And ever after tunning there is no difference in average. Yes it was missing before in acceleration but not anymore.

How much km is ur car driven and which grade engine oil are u using?

I bought it 3 years ago. It was driven 25000 when I bought it. Now its 50k driven only. Sometimes I drive fast depending on time and road but most of the time I keep soft foot on it.

Engine oil grade is crucial when it comes to mileage, you have failed to mention yours.

Sorry for late reply guys. I didn't know about the oil grade, I have been using Toyota Petron oil for quite sometime now.
Which engine oil should I use and of what grade? And which oil filter please mention.

Also, three days ago I refilled my car with 10 LTR of petrol and went out of city. It was giving me an average of 20 KM/LTR
and after a few days when I ran out of petrol I refilled it with another 10 LTR and in the city it was giving me an average of 11 - 12 KM/LTR.
I'm unsure whats the issue here, if there is a problem in the catalytic converter then it wouldn't give me an average of 20 on the highway and after I returned back to the city it was giving me an average of 16 LTR and after refilling again in city its giving me an average of 11 - 12...

U need to chk and let us know about what grade oil u used of Petron

U should be using 5w30 grade oil of any reputable brand.

The 3 fuel refills u told us about above....were they done from same pumps or different?

Plus like i said earlier, calc the avg manually also....for each 10 ltr of petrol how much is ur car running....calc it for 3 to 5 runs then u can avg out a no. for fuel avg

Hey guys sorry for posting here after a long time. I have been busy. And @sleeper I refuled in Khi and when I came back to Hyderabad the average dropped. Today I am going to change my Mira's oil. Are you guys sure about the grade of the oil mentioned in this post earlier? I have Pixis Epoch (same as Mira) I am going to buy the mentioned grade oil. I will reply here with the updates.

You may check a sticker under the bonnet....the oil type to be used is mentioned there

Can u tell what model is ur car and import year?

If its genuine 50k driven then transmission oil need replacement too.

Yes I changed the gear oil at 30k mileage.

5w30 is good enough....your engine takes about 2.7 or 2.8L....fill approx, and check on the dip stick...if its on full then good and keep remaining.
