I feel that we should share all about toyota PIXIS VAN. Model ,make ,engine what type oil it needs. Air filter and why it is different that hijet. Please share yr PIXIS van experience and all the help to the PIXIS van family.

I bought a toyota pixis van.
Felt like Hijet ,but when i drove feels like a little bit different.
Its 2013 model 3 cylinder engine.
660 c.c engine.
40 Litre petrol capacity.
Automatic transmission.
Front windows powered.

Few things one shud do soon after buying used car.
1. For oil change, i did 5-30 shell helix.
I believe car is only driven in japan ,so one should try thin oil.
2. Change oil filter and air filter.
Can use OEM product of tyota or else local companies but preferably OEM.
3. I checked transmission oil.
Its below front passenger seat.
A little in the lower back side.
My transmission oil is in good shape i.e red colour.

I cleaned feul injector. And changed spark plugs.
Cleaned the carbeurator with carb cleaner too much carbon frm silencer came out.

I took the car to A.C wala guy , cabi AC filter cleaning.
It is a permanent filter fouder behind glove box. U have unscrew ,MFU CARD and blower fan before reaching there.

Now almost all things r in shape. Good to go.

Regarding engine oil, always go for 100% fully synthetic or synthetic oil, instead of semi synthetic.

Shell Helix X7 5w-30, may be avoided as its semi-synthetic, and better options in fully synthetic engine oils are there at reasonable prices.

I believe, 5w-30, API SN / SN Plus, ILSAC GF-5, Fully synthetic engine oil, from some reputed brand, will be best suited. Condition is: Oil is 100% genuine and original.

For best for bucks, I would suggest Total Quartz 9000 Future series, and change oil along with genuine, OEM Oil filter, after every 5,000 Kms.

got a seat upgrade from shershah .
kaka is the famous seat guy in shershah got geilder seats in 6000/=
jublee is the place for seat fixing .cost 3000/=
so all in all 9000/= for full seat fixing in the back.

front and back grill is available for fixing ,usually a common practise in pakistan when some one buy such van .its also available in 5500/= at jubliee ,it takes only 30 minutes to place it .
though i feel it reduces parking space for car and un-necessary add-on.

looking for tyre replace for this car.
145 70R12 is what i recieved in it .

people are suggesting to go for 165 70/R12 for better road grip ,not sure how to go about it , i wish to stick with the car original typre specs choice.
also looking for chinese typre instead of bridgestone or dunlop.
Any reason why i should not.?

Nope. I think, Total Quartz 9000 Future series 5w-30 comes in either 1L packing or 4L packing (and then large drums, etc.) You may check Total Parco website for further complete details and prices.

You can buy 1L packs, and pour / manage accordingly.

watched a vdo on youtube about cleaning feul injectors , tried at home ..
Good DIY project ,felt good and injectors got cleaned as well.
they had the real bad filthy carbon on them..
got cleaned pretty nice .

secondly carb cleaned the carbeurator , too much black gunk out of cylinder..
now it clean water dropping .
Hope it will improve the mileage.
plan to change the spark plugs this week end. !!!
