Salam Guys!
Two days back i bought my new Toyota Platz from karachi.
And i came to multan by road , over all car is good n reliable so far.

But sorry to say Karachi's mistries suks :P, as u guys know that its Navigator not LCD(VCD player), so i went to Sadar (KHI) n told one of the local mistri that hw can i turn it to VCD,he told me he ll put a VGA card in it and it ll runs fine,but the price n mazdori ll be 3k :S.

So anyway now i m in back in Multan, i wanna know is there anyway to get a Pakistan Map :D , or should i turn into VCD and how plz guide.

Nice car Mashallah, congrats and drive safe.I am also a Platz owner.I love my car.I bought it just two weeks back.Now thinking of converting it to cng.Mine is 2002 model A/T 1.0L.

Btw my car is 2005 model fully loaded.A/T.

btw i dont think i ll convert it into CNG cos i heard that there are many issues installing CNG in PLATZ.anyway wish u all the best n fingers cross.

Anyway ur car have Navigator or not ? if yes then did u convert into VCD or not if yes then tell me hw did u do that

No. I do not have a navigator.But I knew from this forum that it is not useful for Pakistan.About converting it to vcd,sorry,I have no idea.Anyone else to help plse?

congrats on such a nice choice of ride. i own an 03 platz, manual tranny. as far as the CNG goes, its just a myth out there as it doesnt go well on CNG. i have it in my car for the last 5 months now, and mashallah its goin EXCELLENT. gives me 200 km per cylinder (60 kg) in local. for any queries, u can contact me.

How is the car with Auto transmission? Do you think the car would perform better with Manual?

Thanks 4 the info WALEED,but dont u think its Automatic and u hve Manual transmission,so the my question is hw it goes wid A/M Car.

@Mirza :- To be honest, i like Manual Transmission cos it ll give u more power n RPM,but as far as Auto concerns i drive it max 140 @ National Highway from khi to mul.@ 140 its runs fi9,there is no such difference between Manual n Auto, it depends on u.if u like calm,easy n relax driving then choose Auto and if u want some power then go for Manual.

Well if u wanted to install CNG then u shud have bought Manual Tranny .... But i noe it is a hard find ....

Anyway Platz is a good car i love mine .... 2002 Manual Transmission !
